Method:
1. With your scissors or knife, carefully cut around approximately the middle of your milk bottle. Make sure that you cut all the way around, but leave a little bit uncut so it is still joined.
2. Open up the bottle and tightly pack the soil into the bottom. about 8 - 10 cm deep

4. With your finger, make a well in the soil, big enough to fit in your plant.
5. Carefully place the plant and its roots into the well. Give your plant a water, and pat the soil down around the roots.

6. Close your bottle by lining it up as if it has never been cut. Secure this with tape so no moisture can escape. Make sure the lid is still on your bottle.
7. You now have your very own greenhouse to watch your plants grow. Put it in the sunlight and make sure it doesn't get too dry or wet. If you think it is too dry add a little bit of water by taking the lid off. If you think its a little bit too wet, remove the lid for a day or so.
What else can you see happening? Can you see and describe the water cycle? How tall is your plant now? You could measure it every day to find how much it grows!
